All your Home Information Packs needs
The Government passed legislation in 2007 requiring all properties to be marketed for sale with a Home Information Pack (HIP). The Pack includes an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), containing advice on how to cut carbon emissions and fuel bills. Also included are documents such as a sale statement, searches and evidence of title. The Home Information Pack not only helps to fulfil the seller’s legal obligations but the information contained in a HIP can be used to help buyers make a more informed decision about a property before they put in an offer. It is also planned that rented properties properties are likely to require Energy Performance Certificates by the end of 2008. |
